A&R have in recent years started to grow the fleet of Foden lorries. All of the Foden vehicles are articulated units. The No2 section has the Foden "Demetrius" Reg no. This Foden is unique in that it does not follow the traditional colour adopted on A&R vehicles. ![]() Foden "Angus" E623OWT Exmouth 2000 (Photo A Dyke) Colin DeVey purchased a 6 wheel Foden unit to pull the new Waltzer articulated load. The Waltzer truck was so badly damaged in a road accident in 1999 that the whole ride was rebuilt onto a single articulated load. ![]() Foden "The Lion" C701EYC at Goodrington 2000 (Photo by Paul Middleton) Colin DeVey purchased a second Foden in 2001 to take over the pulling of the Meteor load. This Foden replaced an ERF that had been with the ride since its purchase in the mid 80's. Since this photo was taken the unit now pulls the Orbiter and a further Foden has been purchased (see down the page). ![]() Foden "Victory" E903FRY Plymouth 2001 (Photo Paul Middleton) Colin DeVey purchased a third Foden during the 2001 season as the Orbiter ERF unit blew its engine up.
